"The device works great, but the shipping box was torn open and the product has no other seal. So i don’t really know if it’s been used before and that’s pretty poor for a medical device that I need badly. I hope that if there is any issues with it i could get a replacement. But honestly need the device too badly to send it back wait another week and i can’t necessarily afford a second one. So far it does a good job other than sometimes it feels like only one side working before both sides turn on higher levels"

"So far, so good! I haven't had my Cefaly device terribly long yet, but so far, it seems to help my migraines. I have used it both on the preventive mode (which I do every evening), as well as on the acute mode. When I use it on the acute setting, I usually do two cycles. So far, I have cut down on my rescue meds, which makes me very happy! I'm excited to see what it does with long term use!"

"I honestly did not expect any benefit from Cephaly, but leaving no stone unturned in an effort to get some relief. So far, I have been a little stunned at the improvement, and not quite trusting that it is real. It has been over 3 weeks now and I've gone from sumatriptan almost daily to only 1 dose in all that time."

"Disappointing. I had high hopes. I did everything correctly and it was still pretty uncomfortable and painful. The electrode must have malfunctioned after the third use because the device also zapped my head while wearing it. The electrodes are also too costly and you're going to have to subscribe to them for years. Also the app is very buggy and didn't connect well to the device."

app needs a lot of work

"It's still too early to tell if the Cefaly device is helping with my migraines (Cefaly says it takes a minimum of 3 months to see results, but asked me to write a review only a few weeks after purchase). What I can report immediately is that their app is not what you'd expect to accompany a $500 purchase! The device will not stay paired to the smartphone app, so you have to re-pair it each time you use it - and sometimes more than once! The device disconnects from your phone if you get them more than 2 feet apart, so it's really inconvenient to have to keep the phone right next to your head for the whole 20 min or 60 min of the treatment. And each time you have to re-pair, you have to re-enter the code for your device, even though the app already has that code and shows it to you just before you have to enter it yourself! I could go on and on, but everything about the app shows poor execution and lack of trouble-shooting."
